Statement on the Appointment of Steven Fulop as President and CEO of the Partnership for NYC

Our statement from New York Building Congress President & CEO Carlo A. Scissura, Esq. on the appointment of Steven Fulop as President and CEO of the Partnership for NYC: 

“The Partnership for NYC is welcoming in a new visionary who knows how to work the levers of power to foster positive change and has shown an innate ability to ‘get to yes.’ As a Mayor, Steven Fulop had to ensure that hundreds of thousands of Jersey City residents believed in the promise of their hometown and saw that he was guiding it to a more prosperous future. The Building Congress and all of its members who work tirelessly every day to ensure a thriving, affordable, forward-looking city for all welcome him now to this new role and pledge our support to continue the transformative work of the Partnership under his leadership.

Finally, there’s nothing more you can say about Kathy Wylde that hasn’t been said, and it all falls short of what she is owed for her contributions to this city. There will never be another Kathy Wylde.”
