Statement on Kris Kolluri stepping down as the CEO & President of the Gateway Development Commission

A statement from our President & CEO Carlo A. Scissura, Esq. on Kris Kolluri stepping down as the CEO and President of the Gateway Development Commission:

“Kris Kolluri took an entity that barely existed and turned it into a multi-billion dollar operation — no small feat, because the stakes couldn’t have been higher. The Hudson River Tunnel Project is now on sure ground and has the firm foundation it needs to deliver the desperately needed infrastructure it will provide thanks to Kris’ leadership and vision.

The entire Northeast Region owes him a debt of gratitude, but, in particular, our industry would like to thank him for his constant and clear communication — and his partnership. We always knew where we stood with Kris, and he always wanted to know from our industry’s experts what was needed to get the job done.

We look forward now to the search for the next head of the Gateway Development Commission, and know that while the shoes to fill are big, the thoroughness with which the GDC has approached every facet of the job thus far, gives us reason to believe in the bright future of Gateway.”
