NEW YORK BUILDING CONGRESS AND BUILDING FOUNDATION ANNOUNCE NEW ADDITIONS TO EXECUTIVE BOARDS

NEW YORK, February 10, 2017 – The New York Building Congress and its philanthropic arm, the New York Building Foundation, recently named eight esteemed industry professionals to leadership roles on their executive boards. The appointments were announced during the New York Building Congress Annual Membership Meeting and Construction Industry Luncheon Forum on January 23.
The following industry leaders were named to the New York Building Congress Board of Directors: David M. Greenberg, Executive Vice President for University Facilities and Operations, Columbia University; George E. Leventis, P.E., Managing Principal/Managing Director, Langan; and Carlo A. Scissura, President and CEO, New York Building Congress.
The Building Congress also named two Directors Emeriti: Richard T. Anderson, who had served as President of the Building Congress for the past 23 years, and Thomas Iovino, P.E., CEO of Judlau Contracting, Inc.
The New York Building Foundation welcomed the following additions to its Board of Governors: Jonathan D. Resnick, President, Jack Resnick & Sons; Mr. Scissura, who was also named President of the Building Foundation; and Palmina M. Whelan, Managing Director, American Airlines. The Building Foundation also tapped Mr. Anderson and John M. Dionisio, the immediate Past Chairman of the New York Building Foundation, to serve as Governors Emeriti.
