The next Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee meeting will take place on Thursday, February 6. This will be an in-person meeting at the New York Building Congress’ office, located at 1040 Avenue of the Americas, 21st Floor. Breakfast will be available at 8:30 AM and the meeting will begin at 9:00 AM.
The meeting will feature a panel on the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center campus with Patrick J. Burke III, FAIA, Vice President, Facilities Management, Operations & Planning, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Carlos Cerezo Davila, Global Director of Sustainability, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Jeffrey Rios PE, LEED AP, Senior Vice President, Built Ecology, WSP, and James Bickerstaff, Jr., Project Manager, LF Driscoll Healthcare. The discussion will focus on the design and construction challenges of an all-electric lab versus a conventional lab and the lessons learned.
